Mostly Angels is an album inspired on weird times visiting LA.

I landed there working for a wonderful guy on a mission to make augmented reality, ai-predicted, cannabis-greenhouse technology. Far out.

During this time I slept on his couch, and encountered the right people, and books to loosen my beliefs and 'scientific' ideas about reality. One of these books was Carl Jung's (Memories, Dreams, Reflections), found in a used-books store. Challenging my beliefs about what's reality, experiences somehow got more mystical. It put my mind in this weird fuzzy, colorful and open state. California's abundant designer-weed might've helped as well.

These months, things just *happened*. Every day I was speeding through LA's streets on a craigslist racing bicycle, blasting Amen Dune's Freedom on repeat, fell in love, and met some beautiful people. The album cover from VHS footage shot from the Holywood hills in the night. The birdsounds are recorded around Cachuma lake.

Then my US Visa expired, and the business ran out of money.

The songs try to capture these feelings and memories, and are attributed to the places and people I met who showed me such wonderful mystery.

"Dawn Chorus Cachuma" and "Do You Know What Midnight Is?" are co-produced by Casper Van Der Lans at MRF-studio's. The former of these is mastered by Kramer. The rest is mastered by Denis Wouters, NoFi Studios in Brussels.
